Job Description: Duties include setting and clearing tables and dining room meal service following therapeutic diet guidelines, dish machine operation, preparation of regular and therapeutic nourishments, daily cleaning duties and other duties as assigned.
Must be proficient in these skills: ability to follow instructions, basic knowledge of food safety preparation, storage methods, proper dishwashing method, basic knowledge of therapeutic diets.
Personal Qualities:
Enjoy working with the elderly. Calm and pleasant manner in dealing with elderly.
Experience Required:
Preferred experience in institutional kitchen setting but will provide training.
Preferred Food Service Worker Certification or willingness to enroll in program
Basic Food Safety Certification
Require proof of at least 2 COVID-19 vaccines
