OPPORTUNITY

The Recreation Coordinator will report to the resort Manager. The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of recreation, leisure, sport programs and activities as well as communicating and assisting with volunteer recreation groups and committees on park events. This is in order to provide opportunities, encourage and promote a healthy recreation pursuit for all guests of the community. In addition this role will be expected to support the management and admin team by covering front desk shifts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Follow program plans and calendars from the Summer Program’s manual

·        Implement children’s programs, sport and some adult programs

·        Assist the Resort manager with larger events in the Parkbridge Community

·        Ensure that there is a wide range of sport and recreational opportunities provided for guests

·        Monitor supplies and equipment and report any issues to the Resort manager.

·        Promote and market programs and activities in the community and ensure communication

·        Front desk duties such as handling transactions, answering phone calls and email, resolving guest issues

·        Recruiting, organizing and developing volunteers from the resorts guests to enhance the experience for both volunteers and participant’s
